Liverpool supporters were left furious after Ilkay Gundogan revealed what a Reds player asked him in the 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
After a last-gasp loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend, Liverpool suffered back-to-back defeats in Istanbul after Victor Osimhen converted a first-half penalty following Dominik Szoboszlai being penalised for a flailing arm on Baris Alper Yilmaz.
To make matters worse for the Premier League champions, they had Alisson Becker and Hugo Ekitike forced off with injuries at Rams Park - where there was an unbelievably hostile atmosphere.

Galatasaray are known for the raucous crowd noise they create on big European nights and it appears to have taken a Liverpool player by surprise during the game.
Speaking in an interview with Amazon Prime Video, former Manchester City midfielder Gundogan opened up on the conversation he had with an opposition player while the game was going on.
According to Gundogan, an unnamed Liverpool star had a question about the atmosphere.
"If you were here tonight and you see the atmosphere - actually one of the opponent players came to me in the game and asked me if the atmosphere is always like that," Gundogan revealed.
The interviewer was almost taking aback by the admission and immediately sought clarification, asking, "A Liverpool player asked you?".

Gundogan confirmed: "During the game yeah. No names but you can see even for them it was incredible to play in front of that crowd".
On Amazon's coverage, former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge was perplexed by Gundogan's revelation and a number of fans on social media vented about the player in question not being 'locked in'.
One fan on X fumed: "Whoever asked this can be shipped there. Pathetic."
A second added: "Sturridge was baffled when he heard that and rightly so. Just lock in??"

Another said: "Just imagine a player who plays at Anfield asking about atmosphere."
A fourth user commented: "If this is true I’m embarrassed. you play for one of the biggest clubs on the planet and you’re put off by some whistling? Weak."
Not at their usual level in recent times, Liverpool have suffered consecutive losses for the first time under Arne Slot and look to bounce back against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
