Liverpool supporters paid a touching tribute to manager Jurgen Klopp just some 57 seconds into their FA Cup clash with Norwich City.

The German is set to leave Anfield at the end of this season and his entrance on Merseyside sparked a huge round of applause for the home supporters.

With the game not even a minute old, fans burst into a rendition of popular chant 'Jurgen is a Red' to the tune of classic pop song by The Beatles - I Feel Fine.

Klopp is set to call time on his nine-year tenure at the club in the summer and it remains to be seen who will replace the 56-year-old.

Xavi Alonso, Jose Mourinho and Roberto De Zerbi are just some of the name listed by the bookmakers, with a new era soon to be sworn in.

Liverpool are still on track for a mammoth quadruple this season, having most recently progressed to the final of the 2023 Carabao Cup.

Into the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League, the former Borussia Dortmund brushed away any talk of getting carried away with plenty of football still to come.

"I didn't think about it to be honest because we are far off having 'four finals'," Klopp said on Thursday, shortly before his side saw off Fulham at Craven Cottage.

"We have qualified for one. It makes no sense to plan the next one before you have played the first one."

Having chased down four titles before, Klopp also admitted the nature of the achievement is a hard one to nail down.

“The competitions are not made so that someone wins all of them. It’s just the number of games. I saw that the final is on February 25 and if we win on Sunday then the next round of the FA Cup will be three days later.

"It's very unlikely we reach all three finals, it's just the nature of it.
