Jayden Danns' shock Liverpool wage revealed after two goals in FA Cup win

Jayden Danns' shock Liverpool wage revealed after two goals in FA Cup win

Jayden Danns scored a brace in Liverpool's FA Cup win over Southampton.

Jayden Danns' shock Liverpool wage has been revealed following his sensational FA Cup showing.

Danns scored a brace as Liverpool beat Southampton 3-0 to book their spot in the next round of the FA Cup, setting up a monster tie against Manchester United.

The 18-year-old entered the fray as a second-half substitute and made an instant impact as he scored his first goals for his boyhood club.

Liverpool fans online loved his post-match interview following his superb appearance at Anfield.

Despite his goal-scoring heroics on Wednesday, Danns earns a modest wage of £220-per-week, according to Salary Sport.

Of course, he's very new to the Liverpool fold having just made his debut last week.

He came on against Luton Town in the Premier League and featured in his side's Carabao Cup triumph.

He now has his first goals for Liverpool, having starred in their FA Cup win over the Saints.

Danns could play a big role this season, with Jurgen Klopp without a number of his stars through injury.

The young forward could deputise while Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah remain sidelined.

He'll likely follow in the footsteps of fellow youth graduates Ben Doak, Conor Bradley and Stefan Bajcetic in securing a pay rise at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp sang the praises of Danns following his brace against Southampton.

"The striking instincts, there is no doubt about that. There's no youth level where you don't have that. We have 10-year-olds with the striking instinct. And he showed in the final that he arrives in the right moment, so he was there three times in a final," he said.

"Your second outing for your boyhood club and you arrive three times and with a bigger, longer toe, he probably scores already in a final. That he is there is cool, that the goals have the same size in the youth department is cool as well because that's why in a situation like that, chipping is really good.

"Unfortunately, I can tell you now already in his career he will miss chances as well, that will happen and probably in similar situations."
