Liverpool have issued a short statement confirming Ibrahima Konate's move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Konate's contract expires on June 30 and he was unable to agree a new deal at Liverpool after negotiations ultimately proved unsuccessful.
He played his final game for Liverpool against Bournemouth at Anfield and later addressed his exit on Instagram, revealing he was "deeply saddened that I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to all of you at the last game" as he sent a message to Liverpool fans.
Talks with Real quickly progressed and it was then widely reported that he had agreed to join Los Blancos along with the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Bernardo Silva and Marc Cucurella.

The club merely mentioned the amount of appearances Konate made and the trophies he lifted across five seasons, refraining from for thanking him for his contributions.
They then shared Real's statement on Konate.
Liverpool wrote: "It was announced last month that Konate was to leave Anfield at the end of June after a five-year stay with the Reds.
The France international centre-back made 183 appearances for Liverpool following a transfer from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021.
He won the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup (twice) and FA Community Shield during his spell on Merseyside.
"A statement released by Real Madrid today read: 'Real Madrid CF and Ibrahima Konate have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2030.'"
Konate has penned a four-year contract and is part of a major rebuild under Jose Mourinho in his second stint at Real.
He had previously said he was “close to an agreement" to extend his stay at Liverpool before walking away from discussions and moving onto the 15-time European champions.
Ibrahima Konate's Real Madrid wages confirmed after transfer is confirmed
Earlier this month, El Desmarque provided details on what the former RB Leipzig centre-back is set to earn at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to the report, Konate will earn €24 million gross per season - which is around €460,000-a-week (£400,000-a-week) before tax.
His four-year deal is therefore worth a reported £83 million and he is also in line to pocket a whopping £17 million signing on bonus.
Konate's salary will be increased significantly, having earned around £150,000-a-week at Liverpool.
He is currently at the World Cup with France and is expected to be formally presented after the conclusion of the tournament.
He will compete with the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Dean Huijsen, Eder Militao and Raul Asencio in central defence and is tasked with helping Real find their level after a disappointing trophyless campaign.
Liverpool are expected to move for a replacement, though they already have a defender arriving after agreeing a £55 million deal for Rennes' 20-year-old talent Jeremy Jacquet in the January transfer window.
