Liverpool fans noticed Dominik Szoboszlai appearing to wind up LASK fans following his side's Europa League victory.
The Reds came from behind to beat LASK 3-1 on Thursday as they open their European venture with a resounding win.
Darwin Nunez levelled from the spot, with Luis Diaz putting his team in the lead just after the hour mark.
Szoboszlai also entered the fray off the bench and was involved in an exchange with the home supporters following the result.
After applauding the travelling support, he seemed to wind up LASK fans as he made a gesture in the direction of the home stand before interacting with Jurgen Klopp.
Szoboszlai getting into it with LASK fans could relate to him playing for Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg earlier in his career.
He enjoyed a spell in Austria before moving to RB Leipzig.
The incident between the Hungarian star and the LASK fans didn't go unnoticed on social media.
One X user wrote: "They still remember of him from RB Salzburg. Rent free..."
A second commented: "He played for Salzburg so there is rivalry there I think."
A third added: "They remember him playing for Salzburg. He’s on the wind up."
A fourth said: "Either old Red Bull Salzburg beef or Austrian-Hungarian beef..probably both tbf."
Another commented: "Probably rekindling old beef from Salzburg days LOL."
Szoboszlai is enjoying a brilliant start to his Liverpool career, having played six games in all competitions this season - scoring in his side's victory over Aston Villa earlier this month.
He could return to the starting XI when Liverpool resume their Premier League campaign on Sunday against West Ham United.
