Details of the big changes Arne Slot have implemented at Liverpool since taking over from Jurgen Klopp have been revealed.

The Premier League season gets underway this weekend and fans are excited to see how new Liverpool manager Slot will fit in to the Merseyside club.

Slot joined Liverpool in June, replacing legendary manager Jurgen Klopp who departed at the end of last season after nine at the helm.

And a new report has revealed one of the biggest changes that Slot has implemented at the club, and it's a big change from when Klopp was in charge.

The report comes from Paul Joyce at The Times, who states that the Dutchman 'ripped up' the timetable set out by Klopp, making the work day start at the earlier time of 9:15am.

As Slot was so excited to begin with Liverpool, he wanted to ensure that the day started as soon as possible, allowing training and other team activities to get underway earlier.

Another change to the daily plan at Liverpool that Slot has introduced is making eating breakfast at the club compulsory so that his team can spend quality time together before heading for morning meetings either before or after their training.

Conor Bradley, who impressed last season when standing in for Trent Alexander-Arnold when the Englishman was injured, spoke about the frequency of the meetings with Slot, another change from life at Liverpool under Klopp.

He said: "We have meetings mostly every day.

"We didn’t really have meetings last year, only the day before the game. There’s differences from what Jurgen did and what the gaffer does now. I’m enjoying learning new things, so it’s all been really good."

While replacing Klopp at Liverpool will be a huge task for the 45-year-old manager, it would appear his time at Liverpool has started off well.

The Reds won four of their five preseason matches, including Slot's first match at Anfield, a dominating 4-1 win over La Liga club Sevilla.

On the same day, a different Liverpool squad played Las Palmas but failed to score in the 0-0 draw.

Speaking after the matches, Slot said: improve, which is completely normal.

“Some of them with the certain new ideas we have, have only been [working] with this for a week so they have to adjust to that."

"So it’s normal that we are far from perfect, but even being far from perfect we can score four, so that’s a good start.”
