Fans spotted a major error in Liverpool’s unveiling post following the completion of Alexander Isak’s transfer from Newcastle United.
Finally, Isak, 25, is a Liverpool player after an ugly summer-long transfer saga which resulted in the Sweden international being omitted from the Magpies’ pre-season tour of Asia and the subsequent three Premier League fixtures against Aston Villa, Liverpool and Leeds United.
What was a healthy relationship between Isak and Newcastle’s supporters, following his Carabao Cup final heroics, quickly turned sour when it became clear the 25-year-old wanted to leave the club.
Despite the speculation about the Swede’s future, Newcastle maintained that he was not for sale throughout the summer.

Then, in August, the player broke his silence with a statement on Instagram claiming “that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time”.
"When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue,” he added.
But Newcastle’s stance did not change, and in a counterstatement, the club claimed that “no commitment has ever been made by a club official that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer”.

However, on transfer deadline day, Isak did, in fact, complete a British record £125m transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool, signing a six-year contract at Anfield.
Liverpool officially announced the completion of the deal on their social platforms and website at 9:30 pm on Monday.
“I feel amazing,” Isak told LFC.com.
“It’s been a long journey to get here. But I’m super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for. It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it.

“I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans and getting back out there.”
And despite the excitement surrounding the move, fans still spotted an error in Liverpool’s announcement.
The club posted a graphic at 10:10 pm on social media which detailed Isak’s career, goalscoring record, age, nationality and position, but there was an error.
The word ‘position’ was spelt incorrectly with ‘postion’ appearing on the graphic.

And fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “Biggest signing in PL history but can’t spell ‘position’.”
Another added: “Just a terribly made graphic, isn’t it?”
A third claimed: “I don’t mind that. Probably just a typo. But really baffles me that his position is FOR. Winger and Second Striker are considered as forwards as well. Should be CF.”
