Sweden boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has spoken about Alexander Isak after making a decision on his latest squad.
Over the last few weeks, all eyes have been fixated on Isak's every move as he continues to be linked with a transfer away from Newcastle.
So far, Liverpool have had a record bid rejected by the Magpies, with Isak currently on strike as he looks to engineer a move to Anfield.
Recently, the 25-year-old broke his silence on social media, claiming 'promises' were broken.

This week, it was reported that Isak held talks with members of the Newcastle board as they aim to find a solution with the transfer window edging closer to an end.
However, despite meeting at the player's home, it has been claimed that Isak's stance remains unchanged - he would like to leave Newcastle for Liverpool.

Despite not playing a single minute of competitive football this season, Isak has been called up by Tomasson ahead of next month's international break.

Sweden are set to play World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Kosovo in September, and Isak has been included in the squad.
Speaking about the striker's situation, Tomasson said, as reported by Sport Bladet: "It is very difficult to have a clear opinion about the situation. We do not know what has happened in the club.
"We must be very careful about drawing hasty conclusions when we do not have the whole picture. He is smart enough, he is smarter than me I think."
The Sweden boss continued: "Alex is a very professional player, a strong character and he has worked hard. He is a game-changer.

"I have spoken to him several times, mentally he is strong. What we have said stays between us of course. Can he play 90 minutes? Of course not. Not at all."

Tomasson also stated that Isak 'wants' to be selected for Sweden.
He added: "I am very happy that Alexander Isak wants to be in the squad, he is a huge player.

"The situation he is in is not perfect and he has not trained with the team. But he is a player who can decide matches and he wants to be part of our squad. The World Cup is important for Alexander Isak."
