There are fears that Liverpool vs Everton could be postponed after the Met Office issued a weather warning.
On Saturday afternoon, the first Merseyside Derby of the 25/26 season is due to take place at Anfield.
Premier League leaders Liverpool are looking to extend their 100% record, having already beaten the likes of Bournemouth, Newcastle United, Arsenal and Burnley.
Meanwhile, sixth-placed Everton have enjoyed a decent start to the season after collecting seven points from their opening four matches against Leeds United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa.

Back in December 2024, the Merseyside Derby, originally scheduled to be held at Goodison Park, was postponed due to severe weather.
At the time, Storm Darragh caused major disruption to the UK's sporting schedule.
The match was eventually played in February this year, with James Tarkowski scoring a stunning last-gasp volley to earn a 2-2 draw for the Toffees. That match was also the final Merseyside Derby to be played at Goodison Park.
