Liverpool fans online have issued a defiant message to Trent Alexander-Arnold amid their sensational pursuit of Alexander Isak.

Liverpool have added Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike to their Premier League title-winning squad this summer.

Wirtz was signed for a club-record £116 million, while Ekitike, who was wanted by Manchester United and Newcastle United, commanded a fee of £79 million.

The club, however, have lost Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid in a deal worth £10 million as the Spanish giants secured his services before the expiration of his Liverpool contract.

Despite Liverpool's spending spree, they remain in the market for more players and have their eyes on a monstrous transfer of Isak, who has informed Newcastle that he wants to explore his options during the transfer window.

Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and Arne Slot are cooking up a storm as they look to defend their title in the 2025/26 season.

And Liverpool fans are convinced Alexander-Arnold has made a mistake in leaving Anfield considering how Liverpool have recruited this summer especially if the Reds can sign Isak.

One X user wrote: "Trent didn’t join the galactico’s He left them."

A second exclaimed: "I hope Trent is watching us during this transfer window and feeling f**king sick."

A third added: "Wonder if Trent has any regrets leaving, Isak joining would’ve had him licking his lips, now he has to cross to Mbappe who is scared of heading the ball."

A fourth said: "Trent has managed to force his way out of Liverpool at the worst possible time. Liverpool are about to have an all timer window."

Slot only signed two players when he arrived at Liverpool last summer but managed to inspire his team to Premier League glory.

Given they have splashed the cash this summer - signing some of the top talent in Europe in the process, they could be on the verge of a special campaign.
