England beat Ireland 2-0 in Dublin - but one set of Premier League supporters were not totally happy.

Fans of one Premier League club are not happy with Lee Carsley after England's Nations League win over Republic of Ireland.

The Three Lions secured a 2-0 win in Dublin, with both goals arriving in the first half.

Declan Rice gave England the lead with a close-range finish against the nation he used to represent, while ex-Ireland U21 star Jack Grealish did likewise before the break.

Chances on goal were less frequent after the interval - they had five shots on target in the first half - but it was a job well done for the Three Lions, and Carsley on his debut as interim manager.

However, Arsenal fans were less than impressed with one decision the 48-year-old made in Dublin.

He allowed Rice and Bukayo Saka to play 90 minutes at the Aviva Stadium, with Gunners supporters believing they should have been taken off earlier.

One wrote: "I'm fed up of Saka and Rice playing every one of these pointless games while every other team's players drop out."

A second said: "Saka and Rice playing full 90. I give up. We need to be smart as a club and players otherwise we can't compete for the title."

While a third fumed: "Arteta and Arsenal need to grow a pair and start telling these national teams our players can't be playing game in game out. This is disgraceful."

Some non-Arsenal fans, though, argued that both Nations League matches in the upcoming week are crucial for England as they look to earn promotion from League B.

One other theory could be that neither Rice or Saka will start when England face Finland on Tuesday, with the likes of Noni Madueke or Conor Gallagher potentially coming into the side.
