Laura Woods Told 'Tonight's the Night You Die' in Terrifying Threat From Stalker

The presenter has moved away from London following the horrific ordeal.

Sports presenter Laura Woods has spoken out about the horrific ordeal she encountered before her stalker was jailed for 14 months.

Woods, 38, is best known for work covering boxing and football on several platforms, including ITV, Amazon Prime Video, and TNT Sports.

The Londoner’s life has changed a lot in recent months. She had her first child, a son, with fiancé Adam Collard in January of 2025.

Since then, Woods has moved from the capital to a farm just outside of Newcastle following what she described as a "terrifying" ordeal involving a female stalker.

In a lengthy interview with The Telegraph, Woods detailed how a young woman spent three years signing her up to a funeral and cremation service.

In the summer of 2021, a young female Liverpool fan began creating profiles to attack her before sending a sexually transmitted infection kit to her home.

Then, in June 2024, Harneet Kaur was given a 14-month jail sentence and a restraining order banning her from going within 500 metres of Woods’ home.

“For three years, she would go to extreme lengths to make my life very uncomfortable,” Woods explained.

“There were birthday cards that would say: ‘Today’s the day you were born and tonight’s the night you’re going to die.’ I would receive monthly funeral letters, because she had signed me up to these things. She sent the animal welfare team around about my dog.”

The 38-year-old presenter then detailed how on one occasion, while she was in Poland covering Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois’ first bout, Kaur called the police, saying “she had seen me being dragged into my house by a man with a knife”.

“… She emailed me while I was on air,” Woods added. “It was a video of my front door and a message, saying: ‘I know you’ve got three cameras in your house.’ I started going through all the video footage to see if anyone was in there. It was terrifying."

The presenter also said that her stalker would sign her up to hate and spam websites, which was something Woods “couldn’t understand”.

Woods explained how, at one point, Kaur posted herself at a shooting range with the gun directed at her before the broadcaster admitted that she felt “very exposed” while still living alone in London, causing her to feel extremely anxious and low.
