During the trophy presentation, Mbappe was slammed by Barcelona fans after they accused the Madrid man of 'preventing his teammates from performing a guard of honour for the winners'.
It is often tradition for teams to give each other a guard of honour after a final.
Now, a clip of Mbappe has emerged on social media, which appeared to show the 27-year-old speaking to his Madrid teammates before walking off the pitch.
As reported by Spanish news outlet MARCA, Mbappe 'chose not to stay and accelerate the team's departure, avoiding witnessing the final act of the champion'.

Speaking after the match, Madrid boss Alonso said: "There are mixed emotions, on the one hand the disappointment of not being able to win the title. But also the pride that the team gave their all. We competed until the very end. The final was very close, with different phases. The team tried until the very end and came very close.
"The team showed great attitude and commitment. I knew there would be times when we’d have to hold on without the ball, maintaining that resilience, control, and conviction in what we were doing."
