Back in 2006, it was reported that David Beckham insured his right leg for a huge amount when he was at Real Madrid.
20 years on and there is a player playing in the lower echelons of English football with a different type of asset which has an insurance policy.
Adam Diksa plays for Mickleover FC's veterans team at 2pm on Sundays and has been in impressive form in the Conference West section of the East Midlands Veterans League, with four goals in 10 games in all competitions.
He uses his real name but Diksa is better known as 'Keiran Lee', an adult performer who entered the industry more than 20 years ago and became one of the highest-paid pornstars.

After a naked photo went crazy viral, Diksa, who worked as a project manager for Network Rail, penned an exclusive deal with Brazzers in 2005 and has filmed more than 1,500 scenes for them.
But they saw such value in him and his tool that they took out a $1 million (£817,000) insurance policy on his penis. It means that they would be covered if any severe injury to his manhood was to occur - although the unlikely event of it being cut off was excluded from the policy.
Clearly proud of it, his bio on X says he is "the only man in the world with a penis insured for $1 million dollars".
"The million dollar penis thing was a marketing idea from Brazzers,” he told Loaded World.
"They came to me one day and said, ‘Look, Beckham's had his right foot insured, JLo has a price tag on her ass...let's do your penis’. I think it started out as a joke in the office because I would always be the guy to save the day if there was a scene that needed doing. It was like, ‘If Keiran ever breaks his d**k we’re f***ed, let’s get it insured’.
“I actually had to go to Lloyd's of London and do a medical to get the insurance certificate. The only thing they wouldn’t insure my old boy for is loss. When they told me that, I was like, "Yeah, that's fine, how am I going to lose my knob’? They said, ‘Well, if somebody was to cut it off’. I thought, ‘Well that's not loss really is it? It's theft’.
"Jokes aside, I've got to thank my penis for my lifestyle. Without it, I’d be stuck in Derby working on a railway track. I've been lucky enough to move to America and meet the woman of my dreams and I've got three of the most beautiful kids you could ever ask for."
Diksa, who is married to fellow porn star Kirsten Price, moved to Los Angeles to further his adult film career and it was there he became friends with Vinnie Jones, one of football's leading hardmen.
The former Wimbledon, Leeds, Sheffield United and Chelsea midfielder achieved huge success in acting after retirement and he and his late wife Tanya looked after Diksa across the pond.
"I'll never forget how much he and his wife did for me. They invited me over for Christmas with me when I would’ve been sitting on my own. They were like, ‘Don't be silly, you're coming round ours’. I’ll always be indebted to Vinnie and his wife, because I went through a dark time when I first came out here."
The pair also played football together, turning out for Hollywood United in their vets team. In 2011, Diksa broke his jaw in two places playing for the team.
Diksa would regularly go back to watch his beloved Derby County after watching at inconvenient hours in the states and reversing shooting out of sequence on set so he could catch matches.
It was his dream to play for the Rams and he said he would happily trade his career to achieve it.
Instead, he moved back home and turns out regularly for Mickleover - sharing his goalscoring exploits online.
Reacting to a recent win where he was on the scoresheet, Diksa wrote to his 771,000 followers: "6-0. Statement made.
“Buzzing with the result – great team performance from @mickleoverfc Vets.
“Got on the scoresheet,,, Second one might need a VAR check. We'll take it. Onto the next."
The team train on Wednesdays are set to return to action on 12 April at Don Amott Arena. Mickleover's first team are in the Northern Premier League, Step Four of English football.
