Jose Mourinho could complete what many are calling Fenerbahce's "best ever squad" with the addition of a Premier League star.
Mourinho has returned to management for his tenth different coaching job, penning a two-year deal with the option of a third.
The 61-year-old had been out of work since January after being given the boot by Roma but now looks to bring success to Fenerbahce, who finished just three points off Turkish Super Lig winners Galatasaray last season having only lost a single game.
Mourinho has wasted no time in adding to his squad, strengthening by bringing in likes of Allan Saint-Maximin, Caglar Soyuncu, Cenk Tosun and Youssef En-Nesyri among others.

It's been an impressive summer market so far for Fener and fans think that one more addition could complete the set.
Mourinho wants a new defensive midfielder and was unsuccessful in an approach for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who has signed for Marseille.
And reports in Turkey, via Sport Witness, say that Fenerbahce are interested in Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare and sporting director Mario Branco will be travelling to speak to about a possible deal.

Forest paid £30 million to sign Sangare from PSV but he started just 13 games in the Premier League.
Taking to X, one fan shared a potential XI for next season and wrote: "One last move left for the best squad in Fenerbahçe history under the leadership of Mourinho..."
Fenerbahce have returned to competitive action sooner than most, having been in action in the Champions League qualifying rounds.

They beat Swiss side Lugano 4-3 in the first leg, with Edin Dzeko scoring a hat-trick.
But Mourinho wasn't best pleased with the display from his team, particularly conceding three goals.
"A seven-goal game is thrilling for the fans, but from a coaching perspective, conceding three goals is problematic," he said.
"I didn't like conceding a goal from a set piece, the second goal was an easy shot and the third was not fair play, they should have given us the ball and they didn't."

The second leg takes place at the Sukru Saracoglu next week.
