Jordan Pickford has taken to social media after Lee Dixon's comment about him during England's match against Latvia.
On Tuesday night, the Three Lions sealed their passage to the 2026 World Cup by thrashing Latvia at the Daugava Stadium in Riga.

The former defender questioned why Pickford hasn't moved to a so-called 'bigger club'.
In response, Everton posted on social media: "9 top-flight titles, 5 FA Cups, 1 European title, one of football’s most passionate fanbases, a world-class new stadium.
"Everton FC – a big club: past, present & future, @LeeDixon2."
After the match, Pickford took to Instagram as he posted a series of pictures from the game vs Latvia, with a caption that read: "Boshhhhh! A summer to look forward to!"

Over the last few years, Pickford has been England's undisputed number one goalkeeper.
Following the match against Latvia, Pickford has now kept nine clean sheets in a row for the Three Lions, taking him past a year without letting a goal in for England.

What has Thomas Tuchel said about Jordan Pickford?

He said: "It’s not easy to stay focused in a dominant first half like that. Have basically nothing to do. And then suddenly, I think in the 42nd minute, there’s situation where it always can be dangerous. And second half, he had a very difficult save to close his legs very fast.
"He’s a fantastic shot stopper. There is no doubt about it. We want to have the chance to escape the pressing, also with short passes, and not only with long shots from him. So, he did very well.
"He kept his composure. He kept calm. This is basically what we demand of him. He stayed calm, kept his focus."
