Jamie Vardy's preferred summer transfer has been revealed, along with the three other clubs who are still trying to sign the Premier League legend.
Vardy ended a glorious, 13-year stint with Leicester City at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, signing off with a 200th goal on his 500th appearance against Ipswich Town.
Having announced his departure from the Foxes back in April, the 38 year-old was heavily linked with a plethora of clubs as he looks to continue his incredible playing career.
But with football resuming in England and a slew of leading leagues in the world, Vardy is still without a club and there has not been much movement reported regarding his situation.

However, on Monday afternoon The Sun provided an update on the Premier League winner - claiming that he has his "heart set" on a stunning switch to Scottish giants Celtic.
A source said that Vardy has been keeping himself fit by working with a personal trainer and is “desperate” to be reunited with Brendan Rodgers, who he worked with at the King Power Stadium and won the FA Cup.

It's suggested that Vardy still believes he can play at a high level until he is 40 and is of the view that he can be a useful option for the SPFL champions - particularly in European football.

But Celtic are not the only option on the table, with Premier League sides West Ham and Brentford both in need of a new striker.
Vardy also continues to be linked with ambitious Wrexham, who have signed his former teammate Conor Coady after securing a historic three successive promotions.
The Red Dragons, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, have been extremely active in the transfer market and paid a club-record £7.5 million for Ipswich forward Nathan Broadhead.
They also brought in Wales striker Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United, who suffered an ankle injury on his competitive debut.

Vardy signing for Wrexham would bring a slew of commercial benefits and it's claimed he and wife Rebekah are intrigued about the possibility of getting involved with the exciting project at the Racecourse Ground.
