Sancho was loaned back to Dortmund during the January transfer window after a public spat with Ten Hag.

Back in September, Sancho was left out of the United squad for their Premier League match against Arsenal.

Ten Hag then criticised the Englishman’s training performances before Sancho hit back with a statement of his own.

It was then reported that Sancho had refused to apologise to the Dutchman, which cast his United future in major doubt.

Eventually, the winger was completely ‘exiled’ from the club's training facilities.

During the January transfer window, Sancho returned to Germany and has since managed three goals and three assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.

The 24-year-old played a part in his Dortmund's journey to the Champions League final after putting in a stellar performance against Paris Saint Germain.
