Compilation of Jadon Sancho's breathtaking performance for Dortmund vs PSG shows he's back to his best

Jadon Sancho produced a stunning display for Borussia Dortmund as they beat PSG 1-0 in the Champions League semi-final.

Jadon Sancho's breathtaking highlights for Borussia Dortmund against Paris Saint-Germain show that he is well and truly back to his best.

Sancho was the star of the show as Dortmund drew first blood in the Champions League semi-final first leg at Signal Iduna Park.

Niclas Fullkrug scored the only goal of the game in the first half, producing an exquisite touch and finish past Gianluigi Donnarumma.

But Sancho was genuinely unplayable, reminding everyone of his incredible abilities with a mesmeric display.

The 24-year-old has had an extremely difficult period and returned to Dortmund on loan after being exiled at Manchester United by Erik ten Hag.

Even before being ostracised from the first-team, he struggled for consistency following his £73 million switch in 2021.

Naturally it took him time to get up to speed again back in Germany but on Wednesday we saw a vintage Sancho display that showed what he's all about.

Incredibly, the England international completed a staggering 11 dribbles - the most from an Englishman in the Champions League since Opta started recording stats.

Seven came in the first 30 mins as Sancho used his cage football background to devastating effect, leaving multiple defenders in his awake with mazy runs.

A compilation on his display has been shared online and has racked up 1.8 million views on X.

One man who won't want to lay eyes on it will be PSG left-back Nuno Mendes, who was regularly given the runaround by Sancho.

Rio Ferdinand was covering the game for TNT Sports and loved the swagger in which Sancho was playing with.

"He was shaking and baking top players," he said.

"He’s making people dance. It was a joke what he has done today.

"We haven’t seen this probably since he was at Dortmund. He isn’t just a dribbler, he isn't somebody who just runs and runs.

"He’s a footballer who wants to come in and play one-twos, be part of the game and the tempo. The arrogance is a great point as well, what I saw today more than anything which I’ve been waiting to see, and all other Man Utd fans have been thinking ‘Where is it?’".
