Fans have come to the same verdict after watching Lionel Messi and Inter Miami take on Porto in the Club World Cup.
Both sides entered the clash looking for their first group stage win, having drawn their respective opening games 0-0.
It was Porto who took the lead, as Noah Allen gave away what appeared to be a soft penalty before striker Samu Aghehowa fired the ball beyond ex-Sunderland goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.

As the first half developed, there were chances at both ends, with Inter Miami looking shaky at times defensively.
Aghehowa almost made it 2-0 after he drove beyond several defenders, before Ustari made a good save.
And Rodrigo Mora was denied by a goal-line clearance, with Porto only holding a 1-0 lead into the half-time interval.
Messi was otherwise one of the best players on the pitch in the first half and attempted to make things happen for his side, but an equaliser was not to be forthcoming.

Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez are playing alongside him, but fans were quick to come to a conclusion over Inter Miami's performance.
One stated: "I feel sorry for Messi ngl."
A second added: "Inter Miami is ridiculously Messi-dependent. You want him to playmake, drive the ball, tell players where to run, then still score??"
A third wrote: "Messi still proves he could run Europe with proper runners."

And a fourth said: "An Inter Miami side that, aside from Messi, couldn't hold up anywhere."
Inter Miami did improve quickly after the break, with Venezuela midfielder Telasco Segovia smashing the ball in from 12 yards out.
The 22-year-old has scored four goals and provided five assists in the 2025 MLS season, but has not been an automatic starter in recent weeks for Javier Mascherano's side.

Messi then stepped up with a trademark moment of magic, curling a 22-yard free kick into the top right corner on 54 minutes to make it 2-1.
The other match in Group A saw Brazilian side Palmeiras defeat Egypt's Al Ahly 2-0, with the result provisionally sending them top of the group after two matches played.
