Harry Redknapp has one thing he 'refuses' to do on I'm A Celeb return

Harry Redknapp is returning to I'm A Celebrity for a new edition of the show featuring fellow sporting legends.

Harry Redknapp has one thing he is set to refuse to do ahead of a return to 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here'.

The former Spurs and Portsmouth manager was on the jungle reality TV show back in 2018, going on to win the show after an incredible appearance alongside the likes of Emily Atack and John Barrowman.

Redknapp became a huge hit with the ITV audience after professing his love for wife Sandra and his favourite dessert 'Jam-roly-poly'.

He had to take part in array of trials and challenges - helping to secure stars and meals for camp.

According to The Sun, Redknapp has signed up for a special edition which will take place in South Africa in 2026.

The show will have the same format and all the contestants who have signed up have been on a previous season of 'I'm A Celeb', including Redknapp.

But it could prove tricky for the 78-year-old given he previously admitted to detesting the food he was forced to eat - so much so that he refused to eat a wallaby wing which was given for the camp to cook.

"The food is disgusting. There were four days where I didn’t eat anything," Redknapp explained in a previous interview with the Daily Express.

“I couldn’t eat it. When it came down and you looked at [the meat] and it was a piece of wallaby wing. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat a wallaby."

Explaining how he came to appear on the show, Redknapp added: “I took a lot of persuading. A lot of my mates said 'Do it Harry' it’d be a great experience for you at your age," he continued.

“I thought what am I doing, it’s winter, no golf. It’s raining everyday. It’ll be an experience for me and I went. I took a chance.”

Redknapp will join a number of sporting icons on the all-star show, with four-time Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah, former world champion boxer David Haye and ex Fulham, Wigan and Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard also signing up.

Redknapp is said to have earned £500,000 from his appearance and then bagged a host of other commercial opportunities as a result.
