Harry Kane is still searching for a home in Munch following his summer transfer and has turned down the chance to buy a £30 million-rated villa.

Kane left Tottenham as he joined Bayern Munich in a deal worth £100 million.

He's enjoyed a prolific start to his career in Germany as he's scored nine goals in nine games across all competitions - including a goal against Manchester United in the Champions League.

But the England captain is still on the hunt for a house in Germany, having not yet purchased a property.

That's according to German outlet BILD who claim he took a close look at an old villa for him and his family in Grunwald, worth a staggering £30 million.

However, the 30-year-old is not interested in buying the luxury villa. But, per the report, he could rent if for around £870,000 a year.

If he moved in, then one of his neighbours would be Bayern legend and supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Kane, meanwhile, fired blank in his side's Champions League victory over Copenhagen on Wednesday. He will be aiming to get on the score-sheet when they resume their Bundesliga campaign on Sunday against Freiburg.

As mentioned, he has one Champions League goal to his name this season following his penalty against Man United.

He was linked with a move to Old Trafford before ultimately penning a contract with Bayern.

Revealing the main reason why he signed for the Bavarian side, he explained: "There is a lot of talk about trophies and, of course, I want to win trophies. But that wasn't the only reason I went to Bayern Munich.

"I felt that I needed to be playing at the highest level if I ultimately wanted to improve."

Kane added: "If I want to be around the best strikers and best players in the world, then I need to be playing in the Champions League and fighting for titles.

"I just felt last season went well for me personally [goals scored], but not for Spurs as a team. I felt it was time to take another step and take another challenge.

"The thing I have felt most since I've been at Bayern Munich is the pressure. It's not just wanting to win; you have to win."
