Gary Neville claims only TWO players were able to beat him for pace during his legendary career at Manchester United.

Neville enjoyed a stellar career at Man United, winning an impressive eight Premier League titles.

He had battles with some of the best players to ever grace England's top flight, including former Newcastle United and Tottenham forward David Ginola and ex-Arsenal star Marc Overmars.

Speaking in the latest episode of Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet, Neville said: "[On whom roasted Gary] I had many battles with David Ginola, [Marc] Overmars - he did me one or two games, he did me one game at Wembley."

The former right-back would often give himself a 'yard or two' to counter speedy wingers.

According to the man himself, very few people went past him, but he revealed the TWO players who would often get the better of him.

He named Harry Kewell, formerly of Leeds United and Liverpool, and Gabriel Agbonlahor, who graduated from Aston Villa's youth academy before breaking into the first-team.

Neville added: "The only two players that used to beat me for speed was [Harry] Kewell and Gabriel Agbonlahor. Very few people went past me because what I would do is, I’d give myself a yard, two yards, whatever I needed, but Kewell, he was quick!"

Kewell joined Leeds' youth team before breaking into the first-team, where he starred in the Premier League.

After eight seasons at Elland Road, the Australian speedster signed for Liverpool, where he made 139 appearances across all competitions.

Other than two loan spells, Agbonlahor spent his whole career at Villa.

He burst onto the scene as a speed merchant, scoring 87 goals in 391 matches across all competitions.
