David Beckham has shared a message to son Brooklyn just days after his appearance in a brutal World Cup advert aiming a dig at his father.
Back in January, Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, posted a damning statement on social media accusing his parents of trying to to "ruin" his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz.
The 27-year-old made a series of bold claims about his parents, including one that said that his mum had danced 'inappropriately' with him on his wedding day.
Since then Brooklyn has cut himself off from his parents and three siblings, blocking all of them on social media while living with his wife in Los Angeles, California.

But now it appears that David may have once again made an attempt to mend their relationship with a touching post shared on social media.
With Sunday (June 21) being Father's Day in the UK, Beckham took to Instagram to first share a post thanking his dad, Ted, before making another post speaking directly to his children and wife.
"Being a dad is my most important job... I love you all & thank you mummy Victoria Beckham for giving me our beautiful family," Beckham wrote on Instagram sharing several photos of him with his kids, including Brooklyn.
He added: "Happy Father's Day to all the Dads around the world."
Immediately the comments pointed out the fact that Brooklyn was yet to wish his dad a happy Father's Day on social media, which is hardly a surprise.

Cruz Beckham also took to Instagram to share a message and some photos with David on Father's Day, writing: "Happy Father’s Day Dad, You continue to inspire me every day. You really are the best role model to have, i love you so much."
In a similar post Romeo, Beckham's second eldest, wrote: "Happy Father’s Day to the best there is love u so much"
David's youngest, Harper, keeps her social media profiles private, likely due to the fact she is still just 14 years old.
Brooklyn Beckham aims dig at family during World Cup advert
The posts come after Brooklyn appeared in a controversial World Cup promoting food delivery service DoorDash.
During an initial teaser for the ad, the 27-year-old smirks before saying: "You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story."
Brooklyn then threw down his World Cup tickets onto a coffee table, with the advert then adding: “It’s complicated. More soon.”
Clearly poking fun at his estrangement from the rest of the Beckham family, the ad didn't exactly go down well with fans on social media.
But Brooklyn probably won't be too bothered as, according to Mail Online, he took home a stunning $1million (£753,000) for appearing in the advert.
A source close to the family said: “To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents are inconsolable…
“It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and the trying to cash in on it all.
“He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies – the World Cup – as an advertising selling point.
“Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money – his parents laud such ambition – but taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one.”
