Alexis Mac Allister failed to name England when naming his four candidates to win the 2026 World Cup.
England are on course to book their spot at next summer's World Cup in North America, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Thomas Tuchel's side have won each of their five World Cup qualifiers ahead of resuming their campaign against Latvia next Tuesday.
The Three Lions have impressed in their World Cup qualifying campaign, having scored an impressive 13 goals without conceding a single goal - beating Serbia 5-0 in their recent qualifier last month.
England returned to action on Thursday when they beat Wales 3-0 in a friendly clash.
Despite England's recent showings, Liverpool's Mac Allister snubbed Tuchel's team when picking his main contenders for the 2026 World Cup.
He opted for Spain, France, Argentina and Brazil.

They're making a comeback, and even though they might not be at their best right now, it's a team with great players, and now a great coach has arrived. Brazil has its history and its weight."
On the teams that have been displaying a high level of football, the star midfielder added: "Right now, I see that Spain and France are among the best teams in the world... along with us and maybe a few others that could join. They have a clear idea of play, but we always trust in ourselves."

Tuchel's squad is loaded with elite players, including captain Harry Kane, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham.
But Mac Allister excluded England from his favourites for the competition.
Spain, France, Argentina and Brazil have all won the World Cup in the last 25 years, whereas England's only success occurred almost 60 years ago.
Brazil beat Germany in 2002 to win their fifth World Cup.
Spain won their maiden World Cup in 2010, beating the Netherlands, while France triumphed in 2018 when they beat Croatia.
And, of course, Argentina are the current holders following their dramatic penalty shootout victory over France at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
