FA Cup Second Round Draw in Full as Salford City Handed Huge Tie

The FA Cup second round draw has been completed as the remaining sides from League One and League Two discover their next opponents.

Following Monday night's clash between Tamworth on Leyton Orient, the first round of the 2025/26 FA Cup will officially come to an end after a series of exciting matches.

In total, 126 goals have been scored across 40 matches between non-league, League One and League Two sides, with David Beckham and Gary Neville's Salford City and FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic among those into the next round.

Meanwhile, Carlisle, Gateshead and Boreham Wood are among the non-league teams still in the competitions after they picked up shock wins over EFL sides in the opening round.

The remaining 40 teams in the FA Cup will compete across 20 matches in the second round before Premier League and Championship teams enter in the third round.

When are the FA Cup second round games?

The FA Cup second round is set to take place on the weekend around the weekend of 6-7 December.

Matches are expected to be played across several dates around that weekend.

When do Premier League and Championship teams join the FA Cup?

Premier League and Championships teams, including holders Crystal Palace, enter the competition in the third round.

Matches in the third round are set to take place on the weekend of Saturday 10 January, with the draw likely to take place after the final match of the upcoming second round.

The FA Cup final is currently scheduled on Saturday 16 May 2026.
