Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been linked with a huge European club.
Back in October 2024, Ten Hag was dismissed by the Old Trafford club on the back of a dismal 2-1 defeat by West Ham United.
During his time in charge, United won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. However, their Premier League form was a major concern.
The Dutchman was swiftly replaced by Ruben Amorim, who impressed during his time in charge of Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Since leaving United, Ten Hag has been out of a job and has been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Feyenoord.
The man himself stated that he would not return to the dugout until at least the summer.
He said: "I’ve already decided not to take any job until the 1st of July, so until the start of the new season."
On Wednesday, it was claimed that German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are interested in hiring the 55-year-old.

As reported by Kicker, Ten Hag is the 'number one' target for Leverkusen as they look to potentially replace Xabi Alonso, who has been linked with Real Madrid.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg wrote on social media: "Yes, Erik ten Hag is a serious candidate for Bayer 04 Leverkusen!
"As reported by @kicker_B04, the 55-year-old Dutchman is on their shortlist, although there have not yet been any concrete talks with him. But Leverkusen have gathered information on Ten Hag as they explore the market. As of Wednesday morning, Bayer 04 are still waiting for Xabi Alonso’s decision."

Last week, Alonso was quizzed on his future, The Spaniard replied: "I always say that the communication with Simon [Rolfes] and Fernando [Carro] is very clear. And, when there is something to decide, we will be very direct.
"The trust between us has always been very important, and it stays that way."
Alonso added: "There is no pressure on the timing of the decision. The situation is clear. There’s a moment for everything. So we need to wait a bit."
Leverkusen are back in Bundesliga action on Sunday when they take on SC Freiburg.
