Endrick’s post just minutes after Real Madrid’s shock Copa del Rey round of 16 defeat against second-tier Albacete has caused a stir amongst the Los Blancos faithful.
An eventful week for the 15-time European champions got worse on Wednesday (January 14), as they fell to a shock 3-2 defeat against minnows Albacete.
The home side, who are currently 17th out of 22 teams in the Spanish second division, went ahead thanks to Javi Villar on 43 minutes, but their lead did not last long as Real teenager Franco Mastantuono levelled things in first-half stoppage time.
However, despite Real having 75 percent of the ball, Albacete kept on pressing the La Liga giants and eventually had their reward through Jefte Betancor with just eight minutes to play.

But the joy around the Estadio Carlos Belmonte was short-lived as in typical Real Madrid fashion Gonzalo Garcia levelled things at 2-2 on 91 minutes.

However, there was yet another twist to come as Betancor scored his second and his team’s third, which proved to be the winner on 94 minutes.
Of course, the shock loss and Copa del Rey exit came just two days after Xabi Alonso left Real Madrid by mutual consent, with reserve team manager Alvaro Arbeloa filling the vacancy.

After the match, Arbeloa took the blame for the defeat and said: “I am responsible and to blame. As for the line-up and the substitutions, I can only thank the players. Now we have to recover for Saturday [when Real Madrid play Levante in La Liga]."
Meanwhile, fans also noticed that Endrick, who is currently on loan at Lyon for the remainder of the season, posted on social media just moments after the end of the match, with some accusing him of “throwing shade” at his parent club.
The 19-year-old Brazilian posted a story of himself in the gym on social media without a caption, but given the timing of the post, whether it be coincidental or not, fans were quick to offer their thoughts.

Endrick’s start to life in France has gone well, with the player scoring the winner on his debut during Lyon’s 2-1 win away at Lille in the French Cup on January 11.
