Dele Alli 'Set' for Sensational Return to English Football With Four Offers on Table

Dele could make a miraculous return.

Dele Alli could be offered a fairytale return to one of his former clubs after the midfielder's contract with Como was terminated.

The former Spurs and Everton star has been without a club since September, but remains keen to reignite a career that promised so much.

Dele signed an 18th month deal with Como in January 2025, but made just one appearance for Cesc Fabregas' side, where he was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The England international has rejected multiple offers since he became a free-agent, but the latest contract may be slightly harder for the midfielder to turn down.

According to outlet SportsBoom, Dele is wanted by his former club MK Dons, where he made his professional debut aged 16 and made 88 appearances including a historic 4-0 win over Man Utd.

Dele scored 24 goals for the EFL club before making his move to the Premier League with Spurs in 2015.

The report claims that the League Two side believe Dele can help push them for promotion with Paul Warne's side sitting one point behind the automatic promotion places.

However, it is noted that Dele has not given up on playing at the top level, and a return to Milton Keynes is far from his only option.

The 29-year-old has played professionally in England, Turkey and Italy, and if reports from Fichajes are to be believed, Spanish football could be another string to add to his bow.

The Spanish outlet claims Dele is "carefully considering his next destination" and has Real Oviedo, Sevilla, Elche and Getafe interested in signing Dele on a free.

Elche are the reported favourites offering a contract for two years worth four million euros, believing Dele still has "exploitable potential".

Getafe's offer, meanwhile, will be for 18 months while Sevilla and Real Oviedo's are until the end of the current campaign, forcing Dele to prove his fitness.
