David Beckham has sent an emotional message to his son Brooklyn after he missed his 50th birthday party amid a family 'feud'.
Beckham celebrated his 50th birthday at a lavish party last Saturday.
Family and friends were in attendance, including several A-list celebrities. From Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise to film director Guy Ritchie.
But Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz failed to attend any of the events hosted by the family, with the 'real reason' behind his notable absence revealed.
Beckham has since taken to social media to address the situation for the first time.
He posted a series of pictures taken on a fishing and camping holiday with his other two sons, Romeo and Cruz.
The Manchester United and England legend shared an image of himself with his two sons, accompanied with the caption: "Fun times in Scotland."
He added: "You were missed," tagging Brooklyn's Instagram account.
It was the first time he addressed his son's absence, revealing that he was also not present for the trip.
"Six months ago planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th,” he wrote in another picture.

Brooklyn snubbed his father's birthday celebrations following reports of tension among the family.
It is believed his absence from the birthday party is to do with him and Peltz opting to miss events that include Romeo's current girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
Turnbull had dated one of Brooklyn's close friends in the past, though this doesn't explain his absence from his brothers' and father's wholesome fishing trip.
The suggested rift between the family has not been publicly addressed by any of the parties involved.
A source told Metro that Brooklyn, who was 'sad' not to attend the party, is keen to 'patch things up' with his father.
"Brooklyn feels disappointed in himself for not attending David’s 50th birthday party. David was truly in his element surrounded by all of his family and closest friends, it was a great time all around," they revealed.
"He wants things to go back to how they were, but it feels as if the divide has separated the family deeply. Nicola isn’t pushing him to repair things either. He’s married now and his wife will continue to be his biggest focus."
