The Club World Cup group stage is over and we're heading into the knockout rounds of this summer's tournament. So, who will face who and which teams could face each other in the final on July 13?

In the final group stage game, Real Madrid booked their place in the Club World Cup last 16 with a 3-0 win against RB Salzburg, as goals from Vinicius Jr, Federico Valverde and Gonzalo Garcia secured top spot in Group H.

Los Blancos will face Juventus in the round of 16 on Tuesday after they joined some of Europe's top clubs in the next round of the competition.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Fluminense, Inter Miami, Manchester City, Palmeiras, Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica have also qualified alongside Al Hilal, Borussia Dortmund, Botafogo, Monterrey and Flamengo.

After the final group stage game on Thursday, the round of 16 bracket was confirmed as FIFA detailed the potential paths for each club on their official website.

As you can see from the graphic above, European champions Paris Saint-Germain reside on one half of the bracket alongside Bayern, Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Miami, Monterrey, Flamengo and Borussia Dortmund.

On the other side, Manchester City and Inter Milan sit on arguably the easier half of the draw which includes Al Hilal, Palmeiras, Botafogo, Benfica, Chelsea and Fluminense.

It means PSG could meet Serie A giants Inter in a repeat of the 2025 Champions League final – a match that will go down in the history books after the French side broke the record for the biggest win in a UCL final [5-0].

Here's how fans reacted to the Round of 16 bracket on social media.

One wrote: "Imagine if this ends up being Inter v PSG in the final lol," while another commented: "Good match ups, hopefully some non-European teams survive or the rest of the tournament will be a little boring."

A third said: "Manchester City should be a heavy favourite to make the final."

A fourth wrote: "Only two all European games. Pretty great for the case that the Club World Cup offers another flavour that the Champions League doesn't," and a fifth added: "PSG vs Inter Milan again? Revenge time."
