Chelsea are set to part ways with one member of their Club World Cup squad immediately after their 3-0 win against PSG on Sunday.
Enzo Maresca's side stunned Champions League winners PSG in New York with a first half masterclass from England star Cole Palmer.
The 23-year-old scored twice and provided an assist for Joao Pedro's third, putting the game out of the Parisians reach by the break, which featured a controversial halftime show.
Following the game tensions spilled over with PSG manager Luis Enrique involved in a clash with new Chelsea signing Pedro who fell to the ground following contact with the Spaniard.

Maresca is also set to lose Noni Madueke and Djordje Petrovic to Arsenal and Bournemouth respectively, and following the conclusion of the Club World Cup negotiations for another exit are set to begin.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are to advance in a deal to loan goalkeeper Mike Penders to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for the upcoming season.
Chelsea signed Penders last summer from Belgian side Genk for £17 million, with the 19-year-old remaining in Belgium last season where he played nine times.

Romano claims that Chelsea views Penders as their long-term number one, with the club reportedly cautious to loan him out three separate times like Thibaut Courtois.
“Chelsea are convinced that Mike Penders is special,” he told his YouTube channel.
“They feel he is going to be an important goalkeeper for Chelsea in the future.”
After joining up with the squad in the US for the Club World Cup, Maresca clarified Penders' role in the squad.

"The situation about the goalkeepers is simple – Robert Sanchez is number one and then Filip Jorgensen is number two. Mike Penders has joined us. Then we will take a final decision," he told reporters in June.
