Nicolas Jackson absolutely loses his head against Everton, dragged down the tunnel after final whistle

Nicolas Jackson seemed to clash with Nathan Patterson following Chelsea's defeat at Everton.

Nicolas Jackson absolutely lost his head and had to be pulled away from a confrontation by Mauricio Pochettino following Chelsea's bruising defeat to Everton.

Chelsea succumbed to Sean Dyche's team at Goodison Park on Sunday as Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin scored in the second-half to secure a big 2-0 win.

It's back-to-back league defeats for the Blues, who lost 2-1 to Manchester United in midweek.

Pochettino's players failed to take control of the game against the Toffees and it looks like Jackson was unable to control his temper following the final whistle. Check it out below:

The 22-year-old, who entered the fray as a second-half substitute, appeared to clash with Nathan Patterson following the result.

He was held back by several Everton players as it looked like a fight was about to break out.

According to Nizaar Kinsella, Pochettino pulled the Senegalese striker away from the scene of the incident, with one of his assistants then dragging him down the tunnel, seemingly to protect him from receiving a red card.

Jackson started at Old Trafford but was dropped for today's fixture.

He has six goals to his name this season as Chelsea occupy 12th place in the table, with 19 points on the board.

Speaking after his side's latest defeat, the Argentine boss said: "Football is about scoring goals and we were not clinical in front of goal. I'm really, really disappointed.

"We didn't get the point we deserved. I think we were better but we didn't get what we wanted."

Chelsea resume their faltering league campaign on Saturday against Sheffield United.
