Real Madrid issued a classy message to Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique following their Champions League triumph.

PSG thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 on Saturday to win their first Champions League title.

Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring and refused to celebrate following his spell with Inter. Desire Doue doubled his side's lead before the break, with PSG running riot in the second-half.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Doue and Senny Mayulu added a third, fourth and fifth in a convincing win in Munich.

After the game, PSG players and staff celebrated on the pitch.

Supporters who travelled to the Allianz Arena then unveiled a tifo depicting Enrique and his late daughter, Xana, who died of osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

Real, who were the defending champions, referenced Enrique's late daughter and congratulated his team on their success in a classy social media post.

On X, the club wrote: "Congratulations to @PSG_inside and their fans for their well-deserved Champions League 2024-2025 triumph. And our most special congratulations to our beloved Luis Enrique, with a heartfelt and affectionate memory for his daughter Xana."

Speaking after his side's victory, Enrique shared his thoughts on the emotional tifo: "It was very emotional with the banner from the fans for my family. But I always think about my daughter."

On the result, he added: "Since day one, I said I wanted to win important trophies. Paris had never won the Champions League.

"We did it for the first time. It’s a great feeling to make many people happy.

"We had a great start to the game, dominating from the beginning. But I wanted them to keep pushing, scoring, to ensure we won the game."

PSG end the season having won an impressive quadruple.

They won the Ligue 1 title, two domestic cups and, of course, the Champions League.
