Jeremie Frimpong has revealed what he saw when he checked on Noa Lang after he suffered a gruesome hand injury.
Lang was stretchered off in Galatasaray's 4-0 Champions League defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday.
He entered the fray at the start of the second half but was replaced before the final whistle after colliding with the advertising boards.
In the 76th minute, Lang smacked his hand on part of the advertising hoarding behind the goal after being ushered out of play by Curtis Jones, resulting in a nasty cut.

Liverpool players checked on the 26-year-old Dutch star, including Frimpong, who reacted to the incident in front of Dutch cameras.
According to ESPN, Frimpong said that Lang was in 'a lot of pain', but he could not clearly see 'how bad it was because of his hand was covered'.
He heard from others 'that it did not look good'.

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk confirmed Lang was transported to hospital.
The Turkish giants released a statement after their loss at Anfield.
It read: "In the second half of the same match, our player Noa Lang, who suffered an injury, sustained a serious cut to his right thumb, and it is planned for him to undergo surgery in Liverpool in the coming hours with the participation of our medical team."
Mauro Icardi replaced Lang, who could be a doubt for the upcoming international break.

Victor Osimhen also injured
Lang wasn't the only Galatasaray player forced off against Liverpool as Victor Osimhen also had to be taken off because of an injury.
He suffered a blow to his arm in the first-half and played until the break before he was substituted at the interval.
A club statement read: "In the first half of our away match against Liverpool in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg, our player Victor Osimhen took a blow to his arm and completed the first half, but following checks at halftime, he was not played in the second half due to the risk of a fracture in his arm.
"After the match, under the supervision of our medical team, examinations at the hospital revealed a fracture in our player's right forearm, and it was casted. A decision regarding surgery will be made in the coming days following further evaluations."
