Victoria Beckham’s much-anticipated docuseries has finally been released on Netflix, and viewers noticed that her eldest son, Brooklyn, does not feature – although there’s an explanation.
The Beckhams are among the most well-known families on the planet.
Former Real Madrid, Manchester United and England footballer David and former Spice Girls member-turned-fashion designer Victoria – informally known as Posh and Becks – have been married since July 1999.
Four months before their wedding, which took place at a castle in Ireland, Victoria gave birth to the couple’s first child, Brooklyn, now 26.

Since then, the duo have had four more children: Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.
And the family had always appeared close before reports emerged that Brooklyn, who is married to American actress Nicola Peltz, is said to be no longer on speaking terms with his parents.
He also failed to publicly wish his brother Romeo a happy birthday when he celebrated his 23rd birthday earlier this year.

Brooklyn was also not in attendance for his father’s 50th birthday party in May.
The Mail reported Brooklyn and his wife, Peltz, flew back to the US before the party began – although they were involved in a smaller family event.
In September, Brooklyn addressed the claims during an interview with the Mail.
"There's always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife,” Brooklyn said.

“Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy.”
Brooklyn was not part of filming for Victoria’s three-part Netflix documentary, which details her transition into the fashion industry.
Cruz, Romeo and Harper all feature – with the youngest of the trio giving a speech about Victoria at the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.

Although Victoria does mention Brooklyn when speaking about her first pregnancy.
So why wasn’t Brooklyn part of filming?
Well, according to Cosmopolitan, filming took place ahead of Paris Fashion Week in March, and the 26-year-old could not attend due to “business commitments” related to his hot sauce brand.
The supposed feud between the couple and Brooklyn’s parents has even been claimed to have dated back to the pair’s 2022 wedding.

The report from Cosmopolitan claims that it was thought Nicola would wear a gown from Victoria’s line, but instead she opted for a Valentino dress.
