Thierry Henry had no doubts when he was asked to choose between Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola.
The legendary former Arsenal and France forward is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Premier League history.
He won a record four Golden Boots and two league titles, before moving to Barcelona, where he played a pivotal role in their iconic treble-winning campaign in 2008-09. Henry joined Barcelona in 2007, playing under Frank Rijkaard in his first season.
In 2008, Guardiola was appointed as manager, and Henry went on to score 26 goals and provide 10 assists, helping Barcelona win a treble as they became one of the most successful sides in club football history.

Although Henry played under Guardiola, he believed Alex Ferguson was the better manager, citing Ferguson's remarkable success with Aberdeen as a key reason for his decision.

During a Sky Sports debate on the greatest ever manager, the pair discussed their opinions.
Carragher said: "I'm going to with Sir Alex Ferguson over Pep, because..."

Henry quickly interjected: "he did it with Aberdeen."
Carragher replied: "Yeah. Pep is probably never going to do that or take a team like that. So I'm going to go with Sir Alex Ferguson."
Henry concluded firmly: "So, Sir Alex is the winner."

Why did Thierry Henry choose Sir Alex Ferguson?
Before Ferguson's legendary tenure at Manchester United, he had already enjoyed a hugely successful spell in Scotland managing both St Mirren and Aberdeen. He took St Mirren from the bottom half of the Second Division in 1974 to First Division champions in 1977.

Although he was sacked, his achievements earned him a move to the Scottish Premier Division to take charge of Aberdeen. In 1980, Ferguson led Aberdeen to the Scottish league title, becoming the first team outside of Celtic and Rangers to win the league for 15 years.
He added more silverware in 1982, defeating Rangers 4-1 to lift the Scottish Cup.
That success earned them a spot in the European Cup Winners' Cup, where they famously knocked out Bayern Munich on their route to the final. In the final, Ferguson's Aberdeen defeated Real Madrid 2-1, which remains the last time that the Spanish giants lost a European final.
Ferguson continued to manage Aberdeen until November 1986, when he was offered the Manchester United job.

After a difficult start to life in England, he went on to win 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues to cement his legacy as one of the game's greatest managers.
