Arsenal have made Premier League history following their match against Wolves, and it's not for a good reason.
On Wednesday night, Arsenal suffered perhaps the biggest set back of their season so far as they drew 2-2 with 20th place Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.
With Bukayo Saka opening the scoring for the visitors in the opening five minutes and Piero Hincapie doubling their tally in the second half, it looked almost certain that Arsenal would extend their lead atop the Premier League table.
But a goal from Hugo Bueno and an own goal from Riccardo Calafiori could prove to be massively detrimental to the Gunners' title hopes as it now puts the title race back in the hands of Manchester City, who sit five points behind with a game in hand and a trip to the Emirates to come.

And the fallout from the game has only gotten even worse for Arsenal as the result has set a new Premier League record that fans will want to forget.

In two of the last three seasons, City have come out on top in a title race with Arsenal, with Pep Guardiola's side known for picking up form later in the season.
Therefore, it stands to reason that dropping points to a team that has just 10 points this season after securing a two goal lead could prove to be the difference between Arsenal winning the title this year or missing out once again.
In fact, Arsenal's failure to hold onto their lead against Wolves saw them take the record of being the first team in Premier League history sitting top of the table has let a two goal lead slip against a team in the relegation zone, let alone the team bottom of the table.
The unwanted record just adds further pressure on Arsenal manager Arteta, who could be sacked should he fail to lead the London club to the Premier League title this season.
Speaking post-match, Arteta admitted: "Really tough to accept it, but the second half we didn’t perform at the level in any aspect of the game — the standards that are required to win a game in the Premier League — and we paid the price.
"There were too many things that went wrong, it was one after the other basically. We never got any dominance or control of the game."

Arsenal will now look to bounce back in their upcoming matches against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea,
Meanwhile Manchester City will take on Newcastle United and Leeds United in what many view as much more favourable fixtures.
