Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes appeared to fire a dig at a member of the Aston Villa squad following their 4-1 win over their surprise title rivals.
Mikel Arteta's secured a huge win at The Emirates on Tuesday to catapult them five points clear at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City's clash with Sunderland on New Years Day.
Aston Villa looked like they could cause a serious upset during the first half, but a free scoring display from the Gunners in the second half ended Unai Emery's 11 game winning run.
It was Gabriel who opened the scoring early in the second half after bundling the ball past Emi Martinez following a corner.

The Villa goalkeeper was outraged the goal was allowed to stand after an alleged elbow from the Brazilian, and took to social media after the game to vent his frustrations.
Summer signing Martin Zubimendi quickly doubled their lead after latching on to a delightful ball from Martin Odegaard, before Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus took the game out of sight.
Following the match former Arsenal keeper Martinez was restrained following an altercation with fans in the tunnel, but it wasn't the only drama to go down off the pitch at full time.
In a post on Arsenal's social accounts, Gabriel is seen putting three points in his pocket, a celebration Villa midfielder Amadou Onana has done on multiple occasions this season.
It didn't take fans long to make the connection with the Brazilian's antics gaining attention on social media.
One fan wrote: "About time someone gave it back to Onana."
"I hope Onana is watching," Another added.
A third commented: "No way Gabriel did the Onana celebration, love it!"
A fourth posted: "Gabriel never forgets."

Arteta praises Gabriel's impact
It was the Brazilian's first start back following injury, and following the match Arteta paid tribute to his performance and impact on the team.
"He comes back from an injury in six weeks that probably should have been a bit longer, he plays against the team that is probably the hardest to control ... And he impacts the game in an incredible way, both defending and in the opposition box," Arteta told reporters.
