Arsenal fans have called out Phil Foden after an incredible stat about Bukayo Saka emerged.

There are plenty of talented young players currently plying their trade in the Premier League, and Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden are two of the best.

The English duo are enjoying impressive seasons with Arsenal and Manchester City respectively, with both set to play pivotal roles in the Premier League title race.

The fact that both are playing for two top teams and are both fighting for minutes in the England team has inevitably led to a debate about who is better.

Neither fanbase are willing to back down, although Arsenal fans are taking a stat as proof that Saka is the better talent.

Saka has provided 31 goals and assists in 35 games in all competitions this season, the fifth most of all players in Europe's top five leagues.

Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez also has 31 direct goal contributions, Erling Haaland has 35 and Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe both have 41.

City star Foden doesn't make the top five, as he has notched 28 goals and assists in 40 appearances so far this season.

After being told that Foden is better than Saka, Arsenal fans are understandably enjoying the spotlight afforded to their star.

"Where is Phil Foden?" one fan asked on X, while another questioned: "Phil Foden is not playing this season or what?"

Not content with calling out Foden, one fan took aim at another talented English youngster: "Where is Foden? I ask again, where is Cole Palmer?"

With the Premier League title race hotting up, all eyes will be on Foden and Saka when the two sides face off at the Etihad Stadium on March 31.

Arsenal beat City 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium back in October, although Saka missed the game with a thigh injury.
