Arsenal are set to be denied a historic Premier League trophy lift after ending a 22-year wait to win the English top flight.
The Gunners were crowned champions of England for the 14th time last week after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday.
It sparked wild celebrations at the club's London Colney training ground, where Arsenal players had gathered to watch the game at the Vitality Stadium.
Martin Odegaard then followed in the footsteps of Tony Adams and Patrick Vieira by lifting the trophy at Selhurst Park after a 2-0 win on Sunday.

Thousands of fans gathered at the Emirates to celebrate the triumph on the May Bank Holiday.
Arsenal have already announced the achievement will be marked with a long-awaited trophy parade on Sunday 31 May.

It will go ahead irrespective of whether Arsenal can become European champions for the first time ever with victory over holders Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Budapest.
Arsenal's Premier League title parade decision causes a stir
But further details have emerged surrounding the planned celebration, which is not expected to include a trophy lift.
According to Arsenal Supporters’ Trust (AST), a 9km bus route is planned and there is an anticipation for between 500,000 and one million attendees by the club and police.
With such a huge turn-out expected and road closures from 4am, a decision has been made to not have a trophy lift or town hall spot at the end of the bus parade.
Security concerns have prompted this call, so that the large crowds are spread out rather than in one place.
Instead, the trophies will be lifted along the way by Mikel Arteta's squad.
The parade, which will also feature the women's team and the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup they won, is set to begin at 2pm and last for hours - with Arsenal supporters actively discouraged from turning up at the Emirates once again by the club.
The stadium and its surrounding areas will be closed and not open to the public, as will Drayton Park.
Commenting on the decision, @AST_Arsenal said: "For those querying the lack of a trophy lift at the end of the parade, bear in mind the numbers: anything from 500,000 to 1 million expected.
"Wembley holds 90,000. Glastonbury has 180,000, and that is a crowd of people as far as the eye can see. There are practicalities involved."
The account added: "The expected crowd size is 500,000 to 1 million. That number of people cannot fit around the stadium."
A total of four open-top buses will drive through the streets of north London, with Ezra Collective’s Femi Koleoso and DJ Sammy Virji providing the music.
Some supporters may be forced to miss the parade due to the timings as many may not get home in time from Budapest.
The major event in the capital has been arranged for a Sunday because councils would not support the level of disruption on a working weekday.
