Ruthless fans have mocked Arsenal's celebrations following their win over Porto in the Champions League.

Arsenal made club history in the Champions League as they beat Porto to book their spot in the next round of the competition.

David Raya saved two spot-kicks as Arsenal won their tie via a penalty shootout.

Liverpool fans spotted a huge 'error' in TNT Sports' graphic for Arsenal reaching the quarter-finals.

And fans also took aim at the jubilant scenes following the final whistle as they spotted what Martin Odegaard did on the pitch.

A video shows Arsenal players celebrating their Champions League achievement.

Odegaard is the focus of the clip, with Mohamed Elneny, Aaron Ramsdale Jurrien Timber and Jorginho all embracing with the Gunners captain. Check it out below:

Ramsdale and Jorginho produced passionate celebrations to the dismay of fans on social media.

One X user wrote: "Not even trying to just be a hater here but it’s the ro16."

A second tweeted: "Exactly what I was thinking, means nothing when they go out 4-1 on aggregate to PSG/Madrid next round."

A third argued: "I mean this was a huge mental block for us we haven’t gotten past R016 since 2010."

A fourth said: "This is what happens when your not used to winning trophies."

Another commented: "Did they lift the Trophy?"

Arsenal secured their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010.

And Mikel Arteta called the victory at the Emirates a 'magic night'.

Speaking after the result, he said: "A magic night. We expected a really tough opponent. It’s very difficult to generate momentum and that’s credit to them.

"It’s a huge experience for us. We had to do it as well through penalties.

"Credit to David who had some difficult moments to start but showed incredible determination and stood up and got rewarded."
