Bukayo Saka told he will be kicked out of football becuase of fouls by the age of 24

Bukayo Saka warned he will be kicked out of the game at an early age.

Bukayo Saka has been warned that he will be kicked out of football by the age of 24 because of the fouls he suffers.

Saka, who is one of Mikel Arteta's most important players at Arsenal, is among the most fouled players in the Premier League.

Despite being on the receiving end of some brutal tackles, the 22-year-old has missed just one league fixture this season.

He's played an impressive 27 league games as the Gunners mount a charge for the league title.

But Arsenal legend Bob Wilson is worried about the star winger's future.

The 82-year-old, who played 308 games for the club during his legendary spell, believes Saka could be forced into an early retirement if referees don't do a better job of protecting him.

"What drives me demented is we have one of the best young players and, if we aren’t careful, football will lose him by the time he is 24 or 25 because Bukayo Saka will have been kicked out of the game," he said.

"Referees don’t seem to see or understand it."

Wilson added: "There are always a minimum of two players within five yards of Saka and often a third. If they can’t stop him, they kick him.

"People say, 'What do you mean? That’s too dramatic'.

"I say there has not been a more kicked player in the Premier League than Bukayo Saka.

"If he is facing in an attacking position, and he is taking them on, that is the time I worry. I really worry for Bukayo."

Saka has played a staggering 216 games for Arsenal across all competitions since making his debut back in November 2018.

Not to mention 32 caps for England, having featured at the 2022 World Cup.

Saka has already played a lot of football for club and country, with Wilson hoping referees do a better job of protecting him so the player can prolong his stellar career.
