Anthony Martial already has three offers on the table just days after bidding farewell to Manchester United, it has been claimed.

Earlier this week Martial confirmed he was set to leave United this summer upon the expiry of his contract after nine years at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman’s last United appearance came on December 9, 2023, in a dismal 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth.

Martial joined United from Monaco in September 2015 for £36million and went on to score 90 goals across 317 appearances in all competitions and win the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League.

Sky Sports News have claimed that Marseille, Besiktas and Lyon, with whom Martial came through the ranks before leaving for Monaco, are all interested in the player’s services.

Martial will likely have to prove his fitness to any interested party, having been restricted to just 13 Premier League appearances last season due to a spate of injuries.

Announcing his United departure on Instagram, Martial said: "It's with great emotion that I write to you today to say goodbye.

“After nine incredible years at the club, the time has come for me to turn a new page in my career."

He added: "Manchester United will always be in my heart. This club has left its mark on my career and offered me an incredible opportunity to play in front of you.

"I'm leaving to take on new challenges, I'll always be a Red Devil and I'll continue to follow the club's results with passion. Thank you again for everything, and see you soon."

Elsewhere, United are still in the process of making a decision on Erik ten Hag’s future.

The Dutchman led the club to their worst-ever Premier League finish last season, but impressively beat Manchester City last Saturday to claim the FA Cup.

In turn, the Dutchman became the first manager since Sir Alex Ferguson to have won two trophies in successive seasons at United.
