America's takeover of English football looks set to continue after an NFL boss launched a £190 million bid for Crystal Palace.
The Eagles qualified for next season's Europa League after they defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final.
But it later emerged that their participation in Europe was under threat due to UEFA's rules on multi-club ownership with current part-owner John Textor also invovled with Lyon.

It has now emerged that Textor has received a £190 million bid for his stake.
This would both allow Palace to compete in Europe and continue the trend of American ownership in England's top flight.
According to BBC Sport, the offer is from Woody Johnson, who owns the New York Jets.
Although Textor is also American, Johnson's takeover would mean there are still 11 Premier League clubs with American ownership next season.
