The 50 biggest derbies in world football ranked ahead of Liverpool vs Everton and Man Utd vs Man City

The 50 biggest derbies in world football have been ranked ahead of this week's clashes.

After the latest international break came to a close, domestic football is taking centre stage once again with big trophies still to play for.

In the Premier League, a mouth-watering set of fixtures will be played this week.

Starting on Wednesday night, the Merseyside derby will take place at Anfield, with Liverpool looking to inch closer to the Premier League title but Everton are out to spoil their bid.

On Thursday, a fierce London derby will be played between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

Finally, the last derby of the week will be held at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, with Manchester United looking to do the double over Manchester City.

Ahead of the above-mentioned clashes, the 50 best derbies in world football have been named and ranked by football magazine FourFourTwo.

The ranking was done back in 2021 and the one rule is that teams can only be included once, which means United could only have one of City or Liverpool as their 'mortal enemy'.
