Sadio Mane Completely Forgets About Taking A Knee And Runs Down Wing

Sadio Mane completely forgot to take a knee prior to Liverpool's game with Everton this evening and begun to dart down the wing instead.

Every Premier League team has taken a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement since the season restarted on Wednesday.

However, it looked to have slipped Mane's mind at Goodison Park as he ran into the Everton half on the whistle.

After he realised all other players were partaking in the statement, he returned to his starting position and also took a knee.

The Senegal international's eagerness to restart Liverpool's Premier League title bid was not missed by fans on social media.

A victory in the Merseyside derby means Jurgen Klopp's side could wrap up the title as early as Wednesday's game with Crystal Palace.

Liverpool's team news caught fans off guard as Mohamed Salah found himself on the bench with Takumi Minamino starting.

Regular starting left-back Andy Robertson was omitted from the squad due to injury.
