Barcelona's Twitter accounts were hacked on Saturday night with the hackers tweeting that Neymar would be returning to the club.

The club's social media channels were hacked by an outlet calling themselves 'OurMine' who tweeted a variety of messages.

One of those messages claimed that they'd seen messages saying the Brazilian would be re-signing with the Catalan giants.

The tweets have since been deleted but Twitter users managed to grab screenshots which you can check out below.

Doctored images of Neymar in the shirt were also tweeted as well as #bartumeuout, likely in relation to club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

The group also hacked the official Olympics Twitter account.

Neymar plied his trade at Barcelona from 2013 to 2017 when he completed a world record £228 million move to PSG.

He's spent three years in the French capital but rumours of a return have rumbled for years.

Many believed he would return to Spain last summer but a transfer never materialised.

There is no official proof of a transfer being in the pipeline but it is a bizarre statement to make.

On the pitch, Barcelona went level with Real Madrid at the top of La Liga after a 2-1 victory over Getafe.

Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring after a no-look assist from Lionel Messi, who'd brought Mauro Arambarri to his knees earlier in the half.

Sergi Roberto doubled Quique Setien's side's advantage six minutes later with a lovely team goal.

Angel Rodriguez halved the deficit in the second half and Getafe probed for an equaliser.

But Barca managed to hold on to secure a victory over the high-flying visitors.

Neymar, meanwhile, sat out PSG's thrilling 4-4 draw with Amiens this evening.

Amien stunned the Ligue 1 leaders by storming to a 3-0 lead in the first half before PSG began a stirring comeback.

Ander Herrera, a Nianzou Kouassi double and Mauro Icardi saw 'The Parisians' take the lead.

But Amiens equalised in extra time to ensure the points were spared.

Do you think Neymar will ever return to Barcelona?
