Mohamed Salah has posted a cryptic tweet following Spain's surprise World Cup exit at the hands of Russia - and it has users on social media absolutely dumbfounded as to what it means, with some suggesting that it could well be a sly dig at Sergio Ramos.

Spain crashed out of the tournament to the hosts on penalties after a 1-1 draw, with captain Ramos seen in flood of tears after the game.

Ramos was key in the opening goal in the 1-1 draw and during his celebration, he was thought to have said: "Sue me, Mo."

It's no secret that Ramos and Liverpool star have a fraught relationship, after the Real Madrid man injured the Egyptian King during the Champions League final clash, where Los Blancos won 3-1.

Because of this and Ramos' comments after the tie in Kiev, Liverpool fans have taken to social media to drink up and mock the defender, after he was seen crying after getting knocked out of the World Cup.

Now Salah has posted this very strange tweet following the conclusion of the Round of 16 encounter.

Salah Tweeted: "Some might think it's over but it isn't over. There needs to be change."

No one knows precisely why he tweeted this message, but some feel it could well be aimed at Ramos.
