Jadon Sancho 'Dropped' By Dortmund After Returning Late From England Duty
Jadon Sancho has reportedly been dropped by Borussia Dortmund after turning up late for training following England duty.
The 19-year-old star was left out of the squad to take on Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday afternoon, according to reports in Germany.
Kicker report that Dortmund manager Lucien Favre has punished Sancho for returning late from international duty.
Sancho was with Gareth Southgate's side in Czech Republic last Friday and in Bulgaria on Monday.
He started in the 2-1 defeat in Prague on Friday night, but was on the bench for the 6-0 win at Bulgaria.
And Kicker claim that he didn't report back to Dortmund training in time to prepare for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Borussia Moenchengladbach.
They also say that Sancho turned up "several times late" in the 2017-18 campaign and was moved to the U23 team as a result.
Sancho has been in stunning form for the Germany side this season with three goals and six assists.
He has been linked with a return to the Premier League numerous times since leaving Manchester City and making a name for himself in Germany.
Manchester United have been among the clubs interested in bringing the teen star back to England as they look to rebuild.
Dortmund are in ninth place in the Bundesliga and could have done with his help against league leaders Gladbach.
